Previously Coral’s high-street and digital offerings were quite disjointed and to users they could almost feel like different companies.
To combat this they developed the Coral Connect card – a digital wallet that connects both their high-street and online accounts allowing they to play with the same funds across their entire product offering.
As one of the first bookmakers to offer such a product we were diving into a very cold market. This made the commutation of how the card works the critical element of the film.
We approached this project in the view of producing an infomercial rather than a traditional ad campaign.
As the key message was that the card is a singular linked account that can be used across all Coral platforms, it was imperative that we promoted the benefits of doing so.
By using metaphorical imagery to show the journey a typical user would take through a days betting we illustrated how the Connect card can streamline and facilitate this.
Broadcast in over 1,800 shops
