On:Spec are the North Easts leading wholesale optical company, with the largest range of designer frames in the region. Despite this the main customer base was previously the over 50’s using NHS vouchers.
We were brought in to create a new digital presence for On:Spec, modernising their marketing strategy and expanding their customer base into a younger more fashion savvy audience.
Reach of over 40,000 in 6 months
Due to the lack of any existing digital presence we unusually found ourselves working with a completely blank canvas. So our first stop was creating content to generate an engaging presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
After a 3 month build-up we launched their first campaign – Look Spectacular. The concept played on the “spec” element of the name and hashtag to suggest that no look is complete without a great pair of designer glasses to match.
